Oh my goodness, my family loves an easy weeknight sheet pan dinner. And, these Sausage Sheet pan meals never disappoint. My husband never admits it’s one of his favorite meals, but he reminds me to keep it in the mix every time we eat it.
I really love this meal on the grill but it’s still great in winter months or around St. Patty’s day for a little variety and it still includes a few vegetables.
Bigpittstop’s sheet pan meal tips:
- Everything cooks together in one pan – meat and vegetables all cook together
- Sometimes some items go in and others are added to the same sheet later in the cooking time
- Line pan with foil for an easy cleanup
- Any sheet pan meal I cook is often a meat, and then veggies all done together at 400 for 15-20 minutes
- Frozen vegetables are great to use for sheet pan meals and I usually season them with olive oil and balsamic and cook for 20 min.
- Balsamic or italian salad dressings make a great topping for any meat and veggie sheet pan meal – it already has the olive oil, vinegar and seasonings all in one bottle
- Sheet pan meals are very forgiving. All another sauce or condiment when they come out of the oven if you need more flavoring
I really love sheet pan meals because they are so easy to clean up – we try them often when we are together as a big family or on vacation. Some of our favorites are this sausage sheet pan dinner, turkey meatloaf scoops, orange dijon rustic citrus chicken, or salmon and summer veggies.
