This month included a TON of travel which made it hard to build a complete December Meal Plan. My husband’s Grandma passed and we spent a lot of time on the road being with family. But, our hearts are full and I tried really hard to keep it simple, cook ahead, plan menus with leftovers in mind and work in vegetables when we can.

December Meal Plan | Week 1

  • Sunday – 
    • Lunch – eat out Mexican food
    • Dinner – leftover’s from mom – grilled cheese and vegetable soup
  • Monday – leftover turkey and crockpot corn, but Confetti Corn would have been a good option too
  • Tuesday – baked potato with chili
  • Wednesday – eat out – Zoe’s Kitchen – healthy dinner before Disney!
  • Thursday – Disney
  • Friday – Disney
  • Saturday – Disney

December Meal Plan | Week 2

  • Sunday – Disney
  • Monday – on the road traveling home – Dominos!
  • Tuesday – Chicken Parm – homemade marinara, air fried Tyson chicken strips, chickpea noodles
  • Wednesday – church supper – taco soup (chicken nuggets for the littles)
  • Thursday – leftover marinara with ground turkey spaghetti
  • Friday – on Road to Dallas
  • Saturday – Family Christmas Party – Glorified Ham Sandwiches, dips, snack mix, candy bar gooey butter bars

  • Sunday – on road traveling for family stuff
  • Monday – on road traveling for family stuff
  • Tuesday – on road traveling for family stuff
  • Wednesday – church supper – chili dogs or Frito pie
  • Thursday – Chicken n’ dumplings and chocolate pie
  • Friday – Roast with potatoes and carrots
  • Saturday – Family Play Day – steak night!

    • Lunch – leftover dumplings
    • Dinner – leftovers – roast and steak
  • Monday – Christmas Eve Eve Family Shrimp Boil
  • Tuesday – Christmas Eve – Family Brunch, Chicken Spaghetti with salad and bread, then Snacks and Movie Night
  • Wednesday – Christmas Day – Big Breakfast and traditional Christmas Dinner
  • Thursday – Shortcut Lasagna – frozen ahead – Ceasar salad kit and frozen garlic bread
  • Friday – Naaman’s BBQ take out after shopping day
  • Saturday – big family brunch and leftover lasagna

  • Sunday – 
    • Lunch –  pork tenderloin, roasted potatoes, and broccoli
    • Dinner – clean out the refrigerator
  • Monday – Pittman Christmas
  • Tuesday –  New Year’s Eve – Asian frozen dinners with egg rolls
  • Wednesday –  New Year’s Day – pizza chicken bites and cowboy caviar
