Last spring, a friend of mine shared a lower-calorie fruit dip with me with chocolate chips. I did what I do, mixed it up a little, and made my version of a Lightened-up Chocolate Chip Fruit Dip. It reminds me of the flavor of that chocolate chip cheeseball you spread on graham crackers at Christmas. That cheese ball is so good but full of lots of calories.

This should be your go-to fruit dip for Easter parties, Mother’s Day brunch, Teacher Appreciation week snacks, or to munch on in your bring-from-home lunch for work. I like to serve it with strawberries or apple slices, but it could be great with orange slices, bananas, or any fruit you want to dip in something sweet for a change up to your regular fruit tray.

This Lightened-Up Chocolate Chip Fruit Dip is a great alternative to add to your fruit tray, charcuterie or grazing boards this spring.

I think it could work great as a spread for a charcuterie or grazing board.

Heck, you may just want to take a bath in it!
