As I’m oft inclined to do when invited to a meeting, I made a snack. The hospitality nerd in me just can’t show up to something, in the middle of the afternoon, empty handed. Especially when I know its normally “after school snack” time. I mean what’s a girl to do?

The meeting was about a bar-b-que cook-off competition, so I found it only fitting to make up a new BBQ snack mix for us to munch on while we sat and discussed our plans. I sure hoped it would bring some inspiration to our recipe discussion! That last part is still out for debate, but we sure devoured the snack mix!

And, this time of year it would satisfy all the dad’s in my world (taking back all the ties and plaid shirts :)) If you make it, let me know how you liked it or if you think there is something I should add!
