For Little Man’s third birthday we had a cowboy showdown. Since it was mostly a family party, we decided to do adult party favors in addition to fun bags for the littles. And for grown-ups, it was a shaker of steak seasoning and “Cowpoke Clean up” an essential oil foaming hand soap.

I call my everyday dinner steak seasoning, “That Stuff.” As in, “give me some of that stuff to sprinkle on this chicken” or “man what was that stuff you put on these burgers?” And, you know what, it stuck! It’s the perfect seasoning blend for every protein – steaks, burgers, chicken, pork chops, even grilled or smoked deer meat. I’ve never used it on fish, so you might stick with Old Bay, but why not try it.
When I make this, it’s usually in bigger batches that I store in a mason jar for gifts, or put back in the shakers where all the spices came from. If you are fancy, you can get some shaker jars from an online retailer and tie a bow around the neck. But here’s the deal it goes on everything so just go ahead and make it in an air-tight storage container so you are ready to go.
