It seems the safest way to travel right now is a little family road trip. And, when families get together, families need to eat. These Easy Family Travel Meals are perfect for a weekend at a cabin, a family trip to the beach, or a road trip across America.
These days when we travel, we are considering easy travel meals for toddlers, hearty family dinners for dads and grandpas, and healthy family dinners that are mama approved. But, sometimes, the most important thing when considering an Easy Family Travel Meal is thinking about what can get on the table quickest without a lot of prep work and will always be a winner dinner with clean plates.

We try to stay in Airbnb accommodations whenever possible so that usually means there is a kitchen and some basic kitchen dishes, utensils, and bakeware. Crockpot meals are super easy on long days when you are staying put in one place but it is not a guarantee that a crockpot will be an option. Check your listing to find out what dishes and appliances will be offers. But, if you are just staying in a hotel room you, have to be a little more creative, but you can still be successful.
While its a good idea to consider options when you are eating on the road, sometimes its worth paying a little extra for the convenience of pre-cooked or easy frozen dinners that you can turn in to semi-homemade meals. I mean, mama wants to enjoy her vacation too!

These meals have worked great on our recent family adventures to Durango and the Grand Canyon, Exploring New England in the Fall, Family Week at the beach, Broken Bow/Hochatown and Savannah/Tybee Island, and recently on the Ultimate Family Road Trip to Mount Rushmore, Yellowstone and Rocky Mountain National Park. We are working hard to get stamps in our National Park Passport and explore new places no one in our family has seen.
What’s on your bucket list and what meals do you always include in your family adventures?
