To celebrate our HUGE success, Suzanne and I took a weekend trip to Denver…Estes Park.
So relaxing, so fun and I was not ready to come home.
I LVOE FALL
capitol
downtown
where we stayed
nice view
view from the balcony
and these little guys live in town..apparently they own the place
took a little drive through the mountains..we planned to hike a little, but when we got to the top, it was a sideways blowing storm. Started out at 64 and was 33 on the way up..not so great for “walking” and outdoor picture taking
two little roadside friends
butting heads
We took a tour of the Stanley Hotel. While we were there they were having a TAPS convention – you know the paranomal activity folks. It has a long history of ghosts and hauntings.
This staircase was used in the movie Dumb and Dumber..welcome to Aspen
tunnels that used to lead underground and connect the grounds and their buildings
This place was awesome. Beautiful, restful and relaxing..much different than the busy city of Arkadelphia!
Absolutely LOVE Colorado and Estes Park is one of my favorite spots. So glad you got to go there. If you want to know of more neat places, then follow Christine Bieloh's blog http://cpeezers.wordpress.com/. My favorite AR spots to unwind are: Mt View and Eureka Springs.
