Green “Mostly Veggie” Detox Smoothie

Ingredients

In a quart sized baggie place (seal and freeze until needed):

  • 1 handful spinach or kale 1 Cup-ish
  • 1/2 cucumber – cut in chunks
  • 2 celery stalks – cut in chunks
  • 1 Tablespoon Chia Seed
  • 1 Tablespoon Flax Seed
  • segments of 1 lemon

In Blender:

  • 1 bag of green veggie mixture
  • 2 Cups frozen fruit – pineapple strawberries, mixed fruit
  • 1 banana – frozen or not
  • 8 Cups almond milk, coconut water, aloe vera juice

Instructions

  • Baggie - Mix ingredients in ziptop baggie and store in freezer until ready to blend.
  • Blender - mix together ingredients in blender and blend on high until smooth.

Notes

Other substitutions or additions that can be added fresh or to bag of “green things”:
  • fresh strawberries – cut off tops
  • green apple – take out seeds, but peel is fine
  • avocado
  • “dying” fruit in your fridge
