Give me a Break Green Smoothie

This version of the Green Smoothie is full of natural VitaminC and antioxidant minerals to help fight off infection and naturally rebuild bones.

Ingredients

  • 1 handful spinach or spinach/kale mixture
  • 1 mango peeled and cut in big pieces
  • 1 orange peeled and segmented
  • 1 green apple cut in sections and seeds and stem removed
  • 3-4 clementines peeled and segmented
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 heaping Tablespoon flax seed
  • 1 heaping Tablespoon chia seed
  • 32 oz. aloe vera juice with mango (coconut water is great too)

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to the blender as listed.
  • Mix on medium to stir together all ingredients.
  • Shift to higher setting and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into 5-quart size mason jars.
  • Seal with lids and freeze.
  • Set out in a refrigerator overnight to thaw.

Notes

Smoothie can be eaten at the time it's mixed. If you choose to use frozen fruit or frozen ingredients, the smoothie will have icy texture. Drink cold for best experience (and use a straw if desired).
