This version of the Green Smoothie is full of natural VitaminC and antioxidant minerals to help fight off infection and naturally rebuild bones.
Ingredients
1handfulspinach or spinach/kale mixture
1mangopeeled and cut in big pieces
1orangepeeled and segmented
1green applecut in sections and seeds and stem removed
3-4clementinespeeled and segmented
2bananas
1heaping Tablespoon flax seed
1heaping Tablespoon chia seed
32oz.aloe vera juicewith mango (coconut water is great too)
Instructions
Add all ingredients to the blender as listed.
Mix on medium to stir together all ingredients.
Shift to higher setting and blend until smooth.
Pour into 5-quart size mason jars.
Seal with lids and freeze.
Set out in a refrigerator overnight to thaw.
Notes
Smoothie can be eaten at the time it's mixed. If you choose to use frozen fruit or frozen ingredients, the smoothie will have icy texture. Drink cold for best experience (and use a straw if desired).
