Slow Cooker Stroganoff is a great way to tenderize any meat with the deep flavors of this Euro American classic weeknight dinner. This recipe uses deer meat and is the perfect meal to gather your family for Sunday dinner or a busy weekday.
Ingredients
2poundsstew meat piecesbeef or venison
1can french onion soup or beef broth
1can Golden Mushroom soup
2TablespoonsWorcestershire
1pkg stroganoff seasoning mix
1cupnon-fat greek yogurt or sour cream
Egg noodles or cauliflower rice
Instructions
Place meat in the bottom of a slow cooker.
Top with soups, Worcestershire, and seasoning mix.
Cook in slow cooker on low for 8 hours. (It can be cooked on high for 4 hours, but the meat will not be as tender.)
Once you are ready to serve, cook noodles or cauliflower rice according to package directions.
10 minutes before serving, stir in greek yogurt or sour cream.
Serve stroganoff over rice or noodles.
Store leftover noodles and stroganoff mixture in separate containers.

Serve with a side salad, carrots, or a green vegetable.
